EuroAirport handles business aviation through dedicated terminals with on-site customs and direct ramp access. Our service starts where yours ends: at the aircraft where the FBO allows it, otherwise in front of the executive terminal, luggage taken in hand.
Basel has a peculiarity no other airport shares. It sits entirely in France, under French jurisdiction, yet its Swiss sector is linked to Basel by a 2.5 km customs-free road that bypasses French customs. Depending on the sector you leave from, you are in France or in Switzerland — and that is not the same thing for your luggage, your crew or your route. We settle it before you land.
The airport is also a VIP completions and maintenance hub: AMAC Aerospace is headquartered there with five hangars, Nomad Aviation holds a dedicated hangar and seven thousand square metres of ramp. So a share of our work here is not hurried passenger transfers but owners' representatives and crews in for a delivery or a shop visit, staying several days.
Executive terminal meet
Depending on airport authorisations, pickup happens at the aircraft or in front of the executive terminal. The chauffeur is there as you step down, luggage is taken in hand, the car is close by.
Swiss sector or French sector
This is the question specific to Basel. The Swiss sector opens onto the customs-free road into town with no French clearance; the French sector opens onto Alsace. We settle it at booking, from your FBO and your destination.
FBO and handler coordination
Jet Aviation Basel, Air Service Basel, Swissport Executive Aviation: we work to your FBO. Ramp zones and access procedures are set by the airport and confirmed flight by flight, never promised in general terms.
Flight-plan tracking
We track your flight plan and adjust the pickup in real time — early, late, changed slot. Waiting time caused by aviation is not billed as standing time.
Crews and shop visits
An aircraft in completion or maintenance keeps people on the ground for days. We run the hotel-airport rotations for crews and owners' representatives, hourly or daily, with the same chauffeur throughout.
Three countries from the same ramp
Basel is a quarter of an hour away, and so are Alsace and Germany. Our chauffeurs cross the border daily: a hotel in Saint-Louis, a meeting in Freiburg or dinner in town changes nothing about the arrangement.
Discretion
No name board unless you want one. The chauffeur comments on neither passengers, aircraft nor destinations. NDA available on request.
