The quay, not the address
The Quai du Mont-Blanc has a single lane each way. At the hour the fair empties, stopping in the wrong place outside a palace means a queue behind you and a doorman waving you on. The chauffeur knows where you can actually stop.
Palexpo is next door, but not next door to everything
The airport and Palexpo are neighbours; the quays are about ten minutes away in normal times. During fair week that run doubles around hall opening and closing. The pickup time is set against that.
