1. Data controller

The data controller is Bowyer Transport (UID CHE-292.799.116), operator of the Swiss Limo brand, based in Valais (Switzerland).

2. Data collected

We collect only the data necessary to handle your request: identity data (first and last name), contact details (email, phone number), trip and booking details (pick-up and destination addresses, date and time, number of passengers, luggage, any flight number), as well as the content of your communications with us.

No sensitive data is required. We do not collect data beyond what is useful for the service.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is processed in order to: produce a price estimate and quote, handle and confirm your booking, communicate with you about the service, respond to your questions and complaints, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Legal bases

Processing is based on: the performance of the contract or pre-contractual measures (handling your request and booking), your consent (where required, e.g. for certain communications), and our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper operation and security of our service.

These bases are understood within the meaning of the Swiss FADP and, for data subjects in the EU, the GDPR.

5. Recipients and processors

We do not sell your data. It may be processed by technical providers acting on our behalf, strictly within the scope of the service:

Hosting and database: Supabase and Vercel. Transactional email delivery: Resend. Messaging: WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact us via that channel. Route and distance calculation: Google Routes. Geocoding and mapping: Photon / OpenStreetMap, OSRM and CARTO.

Each of these providers accesses only the data necessary for its function.

6. Transfers outside Switzerland / the EU

Some providers (notably Supabase, Vercel, Resend and Google) may process data in the United States or other countries. Such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, recognised compliance mechanisms), in accordance with the FADP and the GDPR.

7. Retention period

We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described, then delete or anonymise it. Data linked to a booking is kept for the period required by our legal and accounting obligations; mere requests with no follow-up are kept for a limited period and then erased.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise these rights, write to us at info@swiss-limo.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland or, in the EU, with your competent supervisory authority.

9. Cookies and trackers

Our site is deliberately understated: we use no advertising or marketing trackers. Only the technical services mentioned in section 5 (mapping, route calculation, hosting) may set cookies or receive requests strictly necessary for the site to function.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure (restricted access, encrypted communications, server-side keys, database access controls).
