Private chauffeur and limousine in Bern

The federal city, and the gateway to the Bernese Oberland

Bern has been Switzerland's federal city since 1848: the Federal Council and the Federal Assembly sit here, and the diplomatic corps accredited to the Confederation keeps its addresses in the city. Swiss Limo offers a private chauffeur service here, that is a car with a private driver for your use alone, from the Zurich or Geneva transfer to a full day of appointments.

A Bern day is counted in appointments, not kilometres. A parliamentary session, a ministerial audience, an umbrella-association meeting, an embassy call: the addresses sit close together, and the time you lose is lost between two doors, not on the road. A driver waiting outside the right building beats a taxi you have to call back. Our chauffeurs are trained in discretion and protocol, and the Mercedes fleet — E-Class, S-Class, V-Class, Sprinter and Maybach — follows the shape of the journey.

Bern is also the gateway to the Oberland. Interlaken is 55 km away, Grindelwald 75, Gstaad 85: an hour, an hour and a half, with no train change and no luggage to carry. On the airport side, Zurich is 125 km out, Geneva 160, Basel EuroAirport 105, and Bern-Belp (BRN), which handles the region's business aviation, lies some fifteen kilometres south of the city.

Federal Palace and diplomatic corps

Bundesplatz, the federal departments and the diplomatic addresses all sit within a few streets of each other. We run the journeys to and from these addresses, with a vehicle that waits without blocking traffic and a driver who comments on nothing. We are not the official supplier of any of these institutions.

Zurich Airport transfer (ZRH)

125 km on the A1, an hour and a half in normal conditions, from CHF 470 in an E-Class. We track the flight number: a delayed aircraft moves the pickup without you having to call. Geneva (GVA) is 160 km out, Basel EuroAirport 105.

Bern-Belp (BRN) and business aviation

Bern-Belp airport lies some fifteen kilometres south of the city, about twenty minutes door to door. It is the region's business-aviation field: we collect you on the terminal side or on the FBO side, subject to airport access clearances.

A day of appointments

Hourly hire is the natural format for a Bern day: CHF 110 an hour in an E-Class, CHF 880 for an eight-hour day. Between two meetings your files stay in the car, and there is no parking to find and no taxi to call back.

Interlaken, Grindelwald and the Oberland

Interlaken is 55 km away, Grindelwald 75, Gstaad 85. An hour to an hour and a half, in one go, ski luggage accepted. It is the run delegations make when a session in Bern is followed by a stay in the mountains.

The old town and access

Bern's old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, with everything that implies in narrow streets, arcades and restricted-traffic zones. Our chauffeurs know the drop-off points that actually work: you are set down as close as possible to your address, not where it suits the car.
